A pitch project for Adobe Creative Cloud where two interaction ideas for physical space and online paid post environment were presented. Adobe's own campaign "I Am the New Creative" was used as main theme for the pitch.

A pitch for Best Buy using product quiz concept where comparison between number of similar consumer products is questioned.

Using leaflet.js technology a branding image can be zoomed in to actual print size to view products in details. Company's twitter and youtube feeds are displayed in bottom section of ad unit as well.

Ad unit for TMC displays favorite movies from each decade through interaction on timeline.

ABOUT me

joora song

Multimedia Artist
New York, NY

My present professional goal is to position myself as a multimedia artist who creates inspiring and innovative digital or physical art by interweaving fantastic concepts, visual aesthetics, and the most effective technology.

As per work experience, I have trained myself to find creative solutions in smart and efficient way by working as a designer / illustrator for more than a decade. While working at ad agencies, I have worked with clients including Pepsico, Conagra Foods, Campbell's, Proctor & Gamble, and GlaxoSmithKline, providing them with fitting creative solutions.

My education includes BFA in Illustration at Parsons School of Design where my visual aesthetics were elevated, and a Masters in Professional Studies degree in Interactive Telecommunication Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where I gained a new knowledge of current art technology. I'm familiar with the most recent Adobe Creative Suite and and had introductory classes in web programming languages including HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax. While at NYU, I was also introduced to Processing, Physical computing, and interactive art technology as well as interactive and modern art concepts.

"Bellagio" is an interactive screen art where user can see their own real-life faces on fountain water of Bellagio through web camera. 

Hex Colors

User obtains all color hex codes being used simply by typing in site URL.

Your True Color

This project provides more convenience to online foundation makeup buyers by introducing physical interaction in the form of face color scanner.

Colors are read through color light sensors embedded within the face mask, and data is calculated and stored through Processing and PHP.

Explorer Kiosk

A kiosk product prototype where user can scan in an airplane ticket to obtain tourist information on destination including weather, events, hotels, tourist attractions, and history.

NIght Shadows

"NIght Shadows" is a prototype idea where each dancer on dance floor experiences changing of his or her own shadow into something they didn't expect.
